Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly had a ‘very pleasant’ conversation with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez in Turin earlier this week.
According to El Chiringuito, the pair spoke at Juventus’ training ground though it is not known whether it was about a potential return for the Portugal superstar to Madrid.
Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo spent nine years in the Spanish capital before leaving for Turin in 2018 in a £100m deal.
The 35-year-old helped Los Blancos win eight major honours during his spell with the LaLiga giants, playing an instrumental role in four Champions League triumphs.
In the hope of ending their agonising wait for European glory – as they are without a European Cup since 1996 – Juventus snapped up the legendary forward in 2018 in a bid to bolster their chances of winning a third European Cup.
The likelihood of Real re-signing Ronaldo remains slim, however, as the player is believed to be happy at Juventus.
Moreover, the LaLiga giants have reportedly made a deal for PSG ace Kylian Mbappe their top priority.
Eden Hazard, thanks to a string of injury setbacks, has just not cut it at the Bernabeu following his multi-million pound move from Chelsea in 2019.
And, according to reports, Perez is desperate to make Mbappe his next superstar signing in the Spanish capital.
Reports suggest Perez has listed SIX players for sale as he seeks to raise the funds to sign Mbappe, with Liverpool also known admirers of the youngster and eyeing a potential swoop should he become available.
