Steve Bruce has been given his own personalised FIFA 22 Ultimate Team card after a video went viral of him in the game on Thursday.
A clip on Twitter generated a series of funny reactions as it showed the 60-year-old Newcastle manager’s character outpacing his entire bench after winning a penalty shoot-out.
Miguel Almiron scores the winning spot kick and, as the rest of his teammates run towards him to celebrate, there’s one man who sprinting past them all.
As the substitutes make their way onto the pitch, the Magpies’ boss, Bruce, overtakes the entirety of the bench at lightning speed.
The clip now has over two million views on Twitter alone, having only been up for 12 hours.
And EA Sports have capitalised by responding on their own social media.
On Thursday night, they posted a custom Steve Bruce card.
Of course, it has 99 pace.
His other stats are 26 shooting, 22 passing, 36 dribbling, 65 defending and 44 physical – with a 68 overall.
