Conor Benn has told talkSPORT that he wants to jump straight into a fight with Kell Brook after watching his win over Amir Khan on Saturday night.
Benn was in Manchester as part of talkSPORT’s commentary team and gave his reaction immediately after the conclusion of the bout.

Bizarrely, the start of the long-awaited fight was delayed 15 minutes further by a dispute backstage as Khan’s team took issue with their opponent’s gloves.
In remarkable scenes, Brook made his walk and then changed his gloves in the ring before the first bell.
When it eventually got underway, the fight began with a crazy opener as Khan hurled a couple of blistering combinations at his rival, but was then hurt badly and tottering around the ring.
This pattern continued in the following round as Khan was also stunned in rounds three, four and five, before Brook forced the stoppage in round six.

“The big domestics are what we want,” Benn said in reaction, live on talkSPORT.
“After Josh Kelly messed up, who is there now for me? Who can I really test myself against? Who claims to be the best in Britain?
“He is still sharp, he has still got his timing, he has still got accuracy. That makes the fight more realistic.”
Regarding a weight for the bout, Benn continued: “I would fight him at 150. It don’t bother me or my team. It really don’t.
“I am tied into DAZN but I will leave that to them. I want to get stuck straight in.

“I fancy that fight next. I just messaged my trainer. I fancy that fight next. That’s what I said.
“If I have to wait, I will wait. If I don’t, then I don’t. I just want that fight.
“He claims to be the best in Britain. He looked unbelievable tonight, he looks in shape, he looked great on the scales.
“Now that is me challenging myself against a former world champion who claims to be the best.
“Idols to rivals, that’s what it is.”

Chris Eubank Jr also threw his hat into the ring for the bout.
He said on the PPV broadcast: “He’s proven tonight that he still has the spice.
“Now I wanna see how spicy he can get with me because I’m not Amir Khan.
“We have history, he’s the reason I didn’t fight Gennady Golovkin and I’ve never forgiven him for that.”
