Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will officially fight on December 18 in Tampa, Florida.
It will be an eight-round fight at a 192lbs catchweight, as the YouTuber and former Love Island star go head-to-head.
The duo will meet at their first media event on November 6 in Vegas with a second in Tampa on November 8.
Paul, aka ‘The Problem Child’, is 4-0 as a pro and recorded his most recent victory against former UFC fighter Tyron Woodley in August.
And Fury – who is the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson – claims that he’s “not one of those MMA men or basketball players” and says he intends to teach the YouTuber lesson.
Fury said: “Jake Paul is about to learn a serious life lesson. This is my world and he doesn’t belong here.
“I’m not one of these MMA men or basketball players, I have been boxing my whole life.
“I will show the world the difference between a YouTuber and a real fighting man.”
Paul has also had his say on the fight, telling Tommy that it’s time to kiss the Fury “family’s boxing legacy goodbye”.
When announcing the fight, Paul said on Instagram: “It’s finally official. Timothy had no choice but to sign the contract so he could finally pay his bar tabs, afford a shirt for the club, and stop living off Molly!
“December 18 in Tampa Bay, I’m changing this w*****’s name to Tommy Fumbles and celebrating with Tom Brady.
“Pucker up Timmy… it’s time to kiss your last name and your family’s boxing legacy goodbye.”
And Tyson, who recently beat Deontay Wilder to remain heavyweight champion in Las Vegas, said something similar, claiming that he would change Tommy’s surname and retire him from the sport if he didn’t beat Paul.
“I think the fight needs to happen – Tommy and Jake will get the fight done,” Tyson told Boxing Social.
“If Tommy can’t splatter Jake Paul, I’ll retire him from boxing myself. If he can’t beat Jake Paul, forget about boxing.
“Because he’s got ambitions of being a world champion, never mind beating some YouTube guy.
“But it’s a great fight for the social media world and for all the kids out there who support them both.
“It’s a great fight to watch, it’s a spectacle.
“But Tommy – his name’s Fury. If he can’t beat Jake Paul, I’ll have to change his name.”
