He was a starter in the club’s Europa League final success against Rangers in May and featured in last Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup defeat against Real Madrid. Sow’s versatility could be one of the defining factors in Forest’s interest. The Swiss star is a box-to-box midfielder who is comfortable playing any role in central midfield. A technically sound player, Sow is known for his tough-tackling style and boasts a pass completion rate of over 90 per cent. The midfielder has spent his entire career playing in Germany and Switzerland and a move to the Premier League could raise the profile of the playmaker. Sow has earned 30 caps for Switzerland and helped lead his country to the quarter final of Euro 2020, eventually losing out to Spain on penalties.
